Diaspora's eye
Logline
A story about life and death as seen through the life of Mona, a woman who wanders the streets.
Statement
They have no such thing as coordinates. Nothing pulls them in; only a hollow absence stands in for their name. Her body surrenders to a drifting wheel, her mind scatters in all directions. Her gaze turns away from the camera.
She is tired of the cold earth now. Is there a table somewhere in the world where she and I could sit across from each other, sharing a cup of tea? There is no permanence, no place to remain.
It was a night spent, in Vagabond, needlessly preoccupied with the question of coexistence. (KIM Hanjoo)
