Beyond the window is a forest, where various images of space-time are overlapped There is a record of time marked by camera¡¯s time code, and the sound and time of a forest where the sun rises and sets, the leaves turn red and the snow falls. Just as light comes in and out of the time of the forest, images of another space-time overlap and disappear. The image of the forest slowly overlaps with an image and sound of another space-time. If time is allowed an image, this might be the one.  The film portrays the imagery of the Korean director who had migrated to the United States. The scene of a park forest in near her residence is overlapped with a bustling Korean city. This is not just a simple overlap but seems like past images that are permeating into the present¡¯s fissures or a brief convergence of the past and present moments, or a coexistence of different space-time. While the time code shows time passing, the director¡¯s imagery that crosses back and forth between two space-times overlaps, permeates, and intertwines. It all seems to be a very personal image at first but from some point on becomes an emotional image of the ones living the lives of diaspora, and image of the modern man that cannot settle down and has to wander.
