Lee-jin who wants to become a writer suffers from the nagging of her parents, telling her to get a job. One day, Lee-jin’s husband from a twin Earth of a parallel universe comes to find her. As Lee-jin, who has become a famous writer in the twin Earth, dies from an accident, her husband secretly has come to current Earth to find the identical Lee-jin. Lee-jin wants to move with him to the twin Earth, but being jobless and penniless, it is not easy for her to go to the United States, where the spacecraft departs. In the current Earth, Lee-jin is hopeless about the future and feels no sense of belonging. A life in which she is not allowed to dream, makes her a complete alien. Through Lee-jin, the film depicts the life of our younger generation that live in the Korean society as aliens.
