The motifs of shadow and halo of light signify the existence of the diasporas; they are under the darkest shadow but are also the brightest halo of light. Above all, the logo was thoughtfully designed to express the central society and the diasporic existences as a whole. It also depicts how the Diaspora Film Festival views the world: with values such as harmony, coexistence, and respect.
