As DIAFF's 14th journey comes to an end.

 

The 14th Diaspora Film Festival has successfully concluded, thanks to your warm support and participation throughout this remarkable journey.

 

At a time when conflicts and uncertainties continue to unsettle communities across the globe, the importance of understanding one another’s lives and listening to each other’s voices has never been greater.

 

While cinema may not change the world overnight, this year’s festival reaffirmed our belief in its power: the power to keep us from turning away from another’s pain, and to help us better understand those who may seem distant from us.

 

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the audiences who joined us at Hospitality Square, to the filmmakers who generously shared their stories, and to everyone who supported the festival. Because of you, DIAFF became more than a place for screening films—it became a space where people could meet, connect, and build understanding across differences.

 

Although the festival has come to an end, the stories we shared together continue to resonate and inspire.

 

As we look forward to the day we meet again, we will continue preparing the next chapter of this journey. We look forward to welcoming you back to

Hospitality Square in 2027.
